Full Process of a Top Drawer Online Course

Choose the course you want to look at and click on the image or the title to read a detailed description of the course2

The course description gives an overview of the course content and indicates the CPD point allocation and the cost of the course. Go to the course website by clicking the link at the bottom of the page that says…

If you already have an account with Top Drawer enter your user name and password. If you don’t then click on the  “New Account” link4

Complete the New Account form 

  • Your Username needs to be written in lowercase only

  • Your Password requires at least FOUR letters and at least TWO numbers

Don’t forget your Username and Password you will need them whenever you enter the training site

(If you lose them we can retrieve them for you contact us info@topdrawer.org.nz )

You cannot have more than one user with the same email address.  Each user account requires a unique email address.5

Click the “Create my new account” button to continue

An account confirmation is automatically sent to the email address listed in your new account form.

 

Open your email and click on the link in the email from Top Drawer Training to confirm your account

If you can’t find the email check your spam folder, some email software always places automated emails in the spam folder.7

Once you have confirmed your account you can log on to the training website using your new Username and Password6

Contact Top Drawer either,

To arrange payment and obtain the enrolment key for which course you chose to begin.

Once you have the enrolment key select the course you wish to enrol onto and click on the title to go to the course9

Enter the enrolment key in the space provided8

How to complete this course

  1. Print out your ‘Workbook’

  2. Open and follow the presentation using your workbook (PowerPoint for broadband, PDF for dial up)

  3. Complete the tasks and fill in all of the green boxes in your workbook

  4. Open and complete the assessment

 

The workbook for the course can be downloaded from this page by clicking on the link shown at bottom of the page11

Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to open the workbook. If you do not have this program you can download it from our training site or follow this link

Once you have downloaded the workbook click the “print” if you want a paper copy of the workbook or alternatively the “save” button to save the workbook to your computer for later reference.12

 The presentation for the course can be downloaded from this page by clicking on the link shown at bottom of the page. (Some presentations are available in PDF format if preferred)

PowerPoint or a similar program is required to open the presentation. If you do not have this program you can download PowerPoint Viewer from our training site or follow this link

Click the “save” button to save the presentation to your computer for viewing and later reference.13

Use the workbook, additional resources and the presentation to assist you in answering the questions found in the workbook.

Once you feel you have an understanding of the topic and have answered the questions within the workbook Click on the “assessment” link below the workbook and other links on the course topic page15

The assessment is mostly multiple-choice with a few short answer questions.  You have only TWO attempts at the assessment so take care choosing your answers

Once you have answered the assessment to your satisfaction click the “Submit and close” button to finish the assessment.Submit_Button

Your result is calculated instantly and your result is displayed. 85% or higher is required to pass the assessment.

Your results will be forwarded to the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board within 5 days
